University of Central Lancashire School of Medicine and Dentistry is delighted to announce a two-day Advanced Adult Auditory Rehabilitation course on Wednesday 24th - Thursday 25th February 2026. The course is open to all Allied Healthcare, Medical and Nursing Professionals.

The Clinical Cardiology short course will update health professionals on the basic principles of cardiology and common clinical conditions and will improve their delivery of high-quality timely care to cardiac patients.

The ECG short course will update health professionals on the basic principles of ECG recording.

The course is intended for those with prior basic knowledge of ECG.

Course for internationally qualified optometrists who wish to apply to register with the General Optical Council.  The course design is tailored to your identified individual learning needs with content delivered at various points throughout the academic year.

This course is for health professionals delivering urgent care in rural and urban settings.  Course is delivered as a combination of online content followed by a 2-day block of scenario-based learning based at our Westlakes Campus in Whitehaven, Cumbria.

The course starts with an introductory webinar and continues online with videoed lectures and case based discussions in our virtual learning environment that students access at their own pace. It culminates approximately 10 weeks later with a 2-day on-campus block of scenario based learning.

Gain enhanced knowledge in vestibular assessment and rehabilitation. This 2-day course is suitable for audiologists, physiotherapists, other allied health care professionals, medical and nursing professionals.
